As a main competitor for the Samsung and HTC, LG also unveiled its flagship smart phone LG Optimus G Pro during the first half year of 2013. As the upgrade version of the Optimus G, the Optimus G Pro is built-in a Li-Ion 3140mAh battery which supports up to 550 hours of standby time and the talk time is up to 21 hours, it is undeniable to say Optimus G Pro equips a high capacity battery that meet customers expectation.

Lastly, Huawei Ascend Mate which is produced by a China-based smart phone company, Huawei. For your information, Huawei Ascend Mate is the smart phone that target at the mid-end market place. Therefore, the hardware specifications of Ascend Mate are more tended to the mid-end range. However, it is equipped a very high capacity of Li-Ion 4050mAh battery and the design of the battery is non-removable. Ascend Mate’s battery can last for up to 1072 hours of standby time and up to 23 hours of talk times. The Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE is powered Qualcomm APQ8064T Snapdragon 600 chipset with quad-core 1.9GHz processor and Adreno320 GPU.  Besides, Galaxy S4 is built-in 2GB of RAM that can handle all apps and processes.

Huawei Ascend Mate, a very newly smart phone brand with high reputation in China and Asia market. The mid-range Ascend Mate is powered Huawei K3V2 with quad-core 1.5GHz Cortex-A9 and 2GB of RAM.

From the overall of these four phone’s processors, the HTC, Samsung and LG are equipped the same processor and chipset but the different processor speed. While the Huawei Ascend Mate is adopted it own manufacture processor, the processor performance is lower than other three phones.

Among these four phones, HTC One’s display equips the highest pixel density, which is 469 PPI. The HTC One’s pixel density is 50 PPI more than Samsung Galaxy S4. The Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One and LG Optimus G Pro are the flagship smart phones of the year, so the connectivity and networking can be said as fully equip by them. Those phones are built-in the Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, NFC (Android Beam), microUSB and so on. While, Huawei Ascend Mate does not support the 4G LTE and NFC; fortunately,  Ascend Mate still comes with the common connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB, 3G networking and so on.

Samsung Galaxy S4 16GB retail price is US$626, starting April 2013. The US carrier T-Mobile offers a two year contract with the US$49.99 up-front + US$24 for the following 24 months. Other than that,

AT&T ‘s HTC One 32GB starts at US$199.99 or 64GB version only add 100 bucks more which is US$299.99, starting from 19th of April 2013. The Sprint offers the 32GB HTC One at $199.99 with two years contract and the shipping is April 19.

For the LG Optimus G Pro, it will be available on May 3 on AT&T for US$199.99 with two years contract.

The Huawei Ascend Mate will be available on March 2013, the priced at US$430 without any contract.
